Social Studies
-Neighborhood
maps
My students will be constructing a
neighborhood map with their group. They
will have to make roads following the cardinal/intermediate directions they
have on their compass rose. They will
also construct houses and other buildings to put in their neighborhood. Students will also be required to measure
distance between objects to come up with its actual distance via a map scale.
