My third graders will be reading Dogzilla. We will also be finishing out bat research paper.

 

Math

We started our time unit.  We are working on elapsed time as well as understanding terms, quarter to, quarter past, and half past.  Please have your child continue to study their flashcards.

 

Social Studies

1^st day with new social studies unit/teacher.  In my class we focus on mapskills and landforms.  Students will learn cardinal directions, intermediate directions, latitude, longitude, map keys, map scales, among other things to be more familiar with maps.
