Spelling Words

We will be doing handwriting and language this week in place of spelling.

 

Reading
My third graders will be testing on Mr. Rubbish Mood on Thursday.  They will continue their create-a-story this week along with CRT practice.  Reading Carnival is Wednesday during our reading time. 

 

Math

-Fraction unit

 

Social Studies

The students will finish their landform booklets. Test on Wednesday. On Thursday my students will switch classes for Soc. Studies, as they begin their new unit.

We will be starting our fraction unit this week.  Multiplication timings will still resume, so continue to take your flashcard packets home to study.

We will finish our Map project this week and begin our landforms packet.

We will be reading the story, The Extra-Good Sunday.  Make sure reading packets that come home get read and signed.

We are on the last couple weeks of our mult. and div. unit.  I’m looking at having their test next week if everything goes accordingly.

 

Social Studies

My class will be learning about latitude and longitude.  Later on this week, they will make a map using cut-outs and cardboard.
