-Halloween Party on Thursday. Don’t forget your board games!

 

Spelling Words

 

Spelling test will be the misspelled words from the previous couple weeks.  Refer to blue slip attached to your child’s spelling test from last week.

         

Reading
The students will be reading Max’s Words.  Be aware that sometime this week your child will be receiving a take-home book of the story to read to you.  When finished, please sign and return tomorrow. 

In language we will work on parts of speech and a fun Max’s Words project.

 

Math

My students are finishing up our story problem unit.

 

Science

-Matter test on Thursday

-Chemical/physical change Experiment.

Math

My students will be working on a story problem unit.  Following immediately after, will be our multiplication unit.

 

Science

The students will be switching to their new science class.  My home room will have Mrs. Staffileno for Earth science.  Mrs. McMorris’ class will go to my class.  In my class we will be learning about the three types of matter.  Also, we will learn the process of matter changing from one type of matter to another through physical and chemical changes.  This week we will be having a couple experiments where my students will identify the type of matter. The later one, they will have to identify the physical changes that occur.
