Spelling Words

Spelling Test will be on previously words misspelled on 12/13 test.  During the week be working in our cursive books

 

Reading
We will be reading Jump.  Jump test will be on Wednesday.  Also, we will finish up our Create-a-Christmas stories.

 

Math

We are continuing to work on our Multiplying and Dividing skills.  Please have your child continue to study their flashcards daily. 

 

Science

-Chapter 12 Mixtures

Reading
We will be reading Jump.  Be aware that there will be a book coming home during the week for your child to read.  Please sign and return when finished. 

 

Math

My students will be finishing up their division packet.  They will receive another WB packet focusing more on div/mult story problems, calculator work, and mult and div. 6-10s.  Please have your child continue to study their flashcards daily.  My sundae wall is looking bare!   

 

Science

We will be doing a physical/chemical change experiment this week. Matter test is on Friday.

We will be reading Young Thomas Edison.  Be aware that there will be a book coming home during the week for your child to read.  Please sign and return when finished.  This week we will also be going over story elements.

 

Math

My students will still be starting division this week. Please make sure your child is reviewing his/her flash cards daily. 

 

Science

We will be doing some experiments on matter this week.  Also, there will be a research assignment going home.  Please feel free to help your child on these assignments.
