Reading
We will be reading The Truth about Bats. This is the first time we will be jumping out of our reading textbook and reading a chapter book. This chapter book has a worksheet for each chapter that your child must complete. Their folders will be going home frequently for homework if they don’t finish in class. At the end of our unit we will be doing a research project on bats. Please be sure to have your child read 20min every week night and log it on their reading log.

Fractions unit. We are now getting into
the more advanced part of our fraction unit.
Your child will need to come up with equivalent fractions and be able to
prove that they are equal. Less than, greater than to another by drawing a
picture or explaining their answer. The
students had a blast with their fraction pizzas!
