Math
The
students done extremely well with the SBAC tests. They liked how they could manipulate the
shapes and numbers to help them solve the problems. This week we will be comparing fractions by
drawing shapes,number lines, and by numerator and denominator relationships.
Social Studies
-Finish
map skills test
This
week will be starting our 3-d neighborhood map projects. My students will be
put into groups and will plot roads, buildings, among other landmarks on a
sheet of cardboard. The students will be
required to use symbols on map keys, scaling distances, and tell me directions
from one destination to another
